sniff. xmas has come and gone, 2006 too! praise the Lord for this wonderful wonderful year. 2007 shall be much more exciting, full of the Lord's promises and blessings.
"Christmas at Wild Empire" was great. Ms ong's choice of songs for the repetoir was both christian and festive. They made me wanna dance! The opening song, Emmanuel, to us this night was beautiful! dont know why you guys didnt like it. Perhaps sang it too many times and german words cannot bring the out the impact of "Sing with voices raised above a lullaby to Jesus, sing we now with thanksgiving with angel's chorus." But it was spendidly done. all your voices are v nicely seasoned! kel i could hear u and suk! Bravo to the soloists too.
It felt like the most wonderful time of the year. The scene of chestnuts roasting by an open fire was v real in thailand! no chestnuts but an open fire and eager hands. Yuletide carols being sung by a choir and folks dressed up like eskimos! Kids jingle belling and everyone telling you be of good cheer!! It's nice to see that some juniors have joined WE. We'll never forget how good it feels to be singing in a choir, cos singing is an expression of the hope and meaning we have! Pray that the hope and meaning will become more evident as we grow as singers and as people looking for our purpose in life. Thats one of Wild Empire's objectives!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! <3
